This project was worked on at Apt from 2017 to 2021, who inherited it from Hopkins Architects following planning approval. Our team worked to coordinate the design and prepare it for construction, then deliver the project once novated over to the contractor.

An existing mixed use building was demolished to make way for 3 blocks of student accommodation at 6, 13 and 14 storeys, 11 storeys of office and a Roman wall exhibition space in the basement. Cycling facilities are provided for all users of the building, with high quality shower facilities also provided for the office block. The top floor of the 14 storey student accommodation block is a large common room with incredible views across London and spaces to study, socialise and relax.

The Roman Wall was previously hidden from the public, located behind a toilet block in an office space. It is now visible from the street level, with a purpose designed exhibition and cafe space, providing visitors walking the Roman Wall Walk route a much better quality of experience.
