This London terraced house was a project done whilst at BetterPAD. The family purchased this home with the hope to restore its character whilst adding more space for their newborn and for guests to come and stay.

The project involved a large ground floor extension for a new open plan kitchen and dining area and a loft conversion and extension to accommodate a new bedroom, bathroom and office.

The ground floor extension was dug down to achieve maximum head height and with the help of some large roof lights, produced a light, spacious kitchen with large sliding doors out to the rear garden.

Bold colours and tiles gave the refurbished parts of the house an uplifting feel, all finished off with built in wardrobes providing lots of storage and mid century pieces to tie everything together.
